...........................................................................................

Philipians 4:13

" I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me."

............................................................................................

The road to sucess is not straight. There is a curve called 'failure', a loop called 'confusion', speed bumps called 'friends', red lights called 'family' and you will have flats called 'jobs'. However, if you have a spare called "Determination", an engine called "Perseverance", insurance called "Faith", a driver called "JESUS", you will make it to a place called Success!

-I was raised in Southeast Ga. in a small town called Metter. My daddy taught me to deer hunt and my grandad took me coon hunting. This is where my love of hounds came from. Then my best friend, Danny Lanier of Metter, introduced me to beagles and rabbit hunting and I have been hooked since.

Little beagles have become a part of our family and each one becomes like one of your children. Each with there own little personalities. My wife and I live in Reynolds Ga. and if it were up to her, all of our beagles would be house dogs.

My father-in-law, Ernest McCullars, has some of the best rabbit dogs in this part of the country. After my dad passed away, he took me under his wing and has taught me a lot about hounds and about life in general. He is as fine a person as you will ever meet. And my mother-in-law, Ms. Betty Jean is one of the best cooks around, and has put quite a few pounds on me around my mid section.

My mom still resides in Metter and has her hands full trying to take care of the homeplace by herself now. I was blessed that her and daddy raised me in a good Christian home. She is also the my friend! I am also blessed to have her as my mom. I have a daughter named Megan that lives in  Florida and has grown up entirely too fast.

Sally McGhee, from Kentucky, introduced me to the blue ticked, black headed beagles from her kennel. All of her bloodlines go back to Jo Jo Blue and are AKC registered. These are the beagles that I am now raising. These are some of the most intelligent dogs that I have ever seen. Every once in a while , someone comes along that leaves little foot prints on your heart. Sally is one of those people. She puts the belief in me that 'good' people are still out there!

(Love ya Aunt Sally!!)

Special 'Thanks' to Randy Wynn of 'Wynn's Beagles and Training Facility' in Jackson, Ga., Wayne Harper of 'Harper's Kennels' in Forsyth, Ga., Rodney Byrd of 'Mercer Creek Kennels' in Soperton, Ga., and Danny 'Bud' Lanier of L-N-L Kennels  in Metter Ga., for all that they have done to help me continually learn more about breeding better beagles and for being the friends that they are!
